Yes, I’ve planned my funeral. I can’t control how I’ll be remembered, but I do want to be part of the conversation I’ll leave open once I’m gone. The entire project revolves around the word, extimacy, and collective memory.
I don't want to perpetuate this taboo; rather, I want to dare to engage in dialogue within this context despite the discomfort it causes. Overall, it’s a brief event where people can say goodbye.
